"Yūgen Ensemble" is a multi-disciplinary performance group formed by Danny Hynds (baritone guitar, Eurorack synthesizer) and Aoi Uyama (koto). Their work focuses on developing new performance practices which utilize real-time physiological sensing technologies and bespoke music instruments. In their upcoming live performance, they will present a new improvisational program which will feature a robotic koto and guest performer Juling Li on erhu. These songs will utilize the physiological data of the performers and audience members to manipulate elements of the music and create a deeply conversational and impromptu musical experience.
"Yūgen Ensemble"は、ダニー・ハインズ（バリトンギター、ユーロラックシンセサイザー）と宇山葵（箏）によって結成された、パフォーマンスグループです。彼らの活動は、リアルタイムの生理学的センシング技術との楽器を活用した新しいパフォーマンスの開発に重点を置いており、今回のライブ・パフォーマンスでは、ロボット箏とゲスト・パフォーマーJuling Li(二胡奏者・GEIST Project所属)のフューチャリングが加わった新しい即興プログラムの発表になります。これらの曲は、演奏者と観客の生理学的データを利用して音楽の要素を操作し、深く会話的で即興的な音楽体験を作り出します。
